How to use
- Load — drop an audio file onto the waveform, or click Load file. WAV and MP3 work everywhere; Ogg and FLAC won’t decode in Safari. You can also record straight from your microphone.
- Zoom — scroll to zoom around the cursor, drag the ruler to move sideways, use the strip at the top to jump. Keep zooming and you end up looking at individual samples.
- Select — drag across the waveform. Pull the amber edges to adjust, drag the middle to move the whole selection. Snap to zero crossing is on by default — that’s what keeps the cut from clicking.
- Listen — Space plays the selection, L loops it. Fades, level, reverse and silence trim are audible in the preview and never change the original.
- Export — choose 16 or 24-bit, name the file, download. It goes straight to your downloads folder.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored. Recording needs microphone permission — your browser asks once.
