Four voices, no samples
Build a beat from scratch. Every kick, snare, hat and clap is synthesised as you play — nothing is loaded from a sample library. Draw the pitch envelope of the kick by hand, start from one of eighteen genre presets, and export the loop as a WAV. Share a link and the whole pattern travels with it.

Zoom in, cut, shape, export
Cut a piece out of any track or out of a recording you just made. Zoom until you can see the individual samples, and the cut snaps to a zero crossing so it never clicks. Then shape it: filters, drive, bit crush, echo, reverb, and an amplitude envelope you draw over the slice yourself. Save it as 16 or 24-bit WAV.

The answer, and the working
Drop in a track, or record up to two minutes, and get the tempo and the key. Not just the numbers — you also see the onset curve with the detected beat grid, the score for every candidate tempo, and the pitch content of the track against the matched key template. Three different key profiles cross-check each other, so you can tell a confident answer from a guess.

Sketch in, MP4 out
Turn a p5.js sketch into an MP4 you can post anywhere. Rather than trusting what the browser claims it can encode, it runs a real test encode first and tells you what actually worked — so when a file refuses to play somewhere, you know which part to change instead of guessing. The page walks you through using it and through reading that report.

Help test before release
Google requires every new app to be tested by at least twelve people before it can be published. That rule is why Drum Rack took an extra month, and Sample Slicer will need the same.
Testing is undemanding. You install the app from Google Play like any other app — no APK, no unknown website — and open it now and then over two weeks. There is nothing to fill in and nothing to report. If something breaks or annoys you, an email is welcome, but not required.
