Space – Euclidean

Euclidean geometry describes flat space using the principles traditionally associated with Euclid, including familiar relationships between points, lines, angles and planes. It provides a useful local approximation in many calculations, although modern physics also requires non-Euclidean geometry to describe curved spacetime.
