Over the past days, weeks I have been building a new series of generative works for LumLux Art using p5.js. The idea was not to create decorative animations, but to treat code as a visual material with its own possibilities for memory, rhythm, instability, time and movement.
The first series consists of ten separate studies:
Memory Grid explores visual memory through a grid that accumulates traces of previous disturbances.

False Film translates scratches, dust, frame shifts and light leaks into a digital system inspired by damaged film.

Sound Without Sound creates a visual composition built from internal rhythms, repetition, syncopation and silence, without using any audio input.
Broken Geometry begins with a precise geometric structure that gradually develops errors, missing lines and misaligned forms.
Synthetic Weather creates an invented climate of pressure, wind, turbulence and precipitation without using real meteorological data.
One Line, Ten Minutes follows a single line as it slowly changes over a fixed duration of ten minutes.

Unstable Typography treats letters as moving material, allowing language to drift, stretch, rotate and partially disappear.

Feedback Architecture builds a changing virtual space from repeated frames, perspective and visual feedback.
Invisible Attractor reveals an unseen force only through the movement of particles around it.
Time Misalignment divides one visual composition into several temporal states moving at different speeds.
Together, the works form the beginning of a larger series of experiments around generative art, moving image and creative coding. Some ideas may remain small studies, while others could later develop into projection works, audiovisual pieces or connections with music and 16mm film.
