De straten van Antwerpen weergalmen van de stilte - Mijn beklemmende foto's van een stad bevroren door Covid\".<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De pandemie heeft veel steden over de hele wereld tot stilstand gebracht, en Antwerpen vormde daarop geen uitzondering. Terwijl ik door de lege straten dwaalde met mijn camera in de hand, had ik het gevoel dat ik in een spookstad was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De eens zo drukke verkeersaders lagen er nu verlaten bij, met gesloten winkels en caf\u00e9s die voortdurend herinneren aan de gevolgen van de pandemie. Op mijn foto's is de stilte voelbaar - de afwezigheid van mensen, de afwezigheid van geluid, de afwezigheid van leven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maar te midden van deze griezelige stilte was er ook een gevoel van veerkracht. De stad mag dan bevroren zijn in de tijd, maar haar geest bleef ongebroken. En terwijl ik deze beklemmende beelden vastlegde, kon ik niet anders dan me verbazen over de schoonheid van de lege straten van Antwerpen - een grimmige herinnering aan de kracht en onvoorspelbaarheid van de wereld om ons heen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
